It's becoming nigh impossible for car makers to sell diesels when some
states (like CA) make it almost impossible. Additional issues like fewer
stations selling diesel, it being more expensive than reg. gas, hoity-toity
types having to fuel up near truckers, etc., combined with the "old" diesel
perception make selling very difficult.
M-B, however, is trying again. (article in autoweek.com)
