lets not forget putting on makeup and shaving!
it seems like americans like automatics, even on sports cars. most corvettes are auto and the 6sp manual is an option on everything but the Z06!!! but at least it is an option.
the tiptronic is nice and all but it is still a slush box. Audi needs to make something like the SMG gearbox from BMW or the F1 box from ferrari, then you have the best of both worlds.

IMHO, automatic transmission is what the general public motorist wants.

Imagine him/her trying to shift gears driving while using the cellphone and
drinking a cup of coffee!

	And reading the paper while checking stock quotes on their palm pilots!  I
don't know why people think driving is for doing other tasks...maybe I'm not
"multi-task" oriented?
