BTDT with Mobil-1 oil.  I was using over one quart between oil change.
Mileage on V6-12v motor in the 60K range.

FWIW, I went back to dino....Rotella -T 15-40 oil.  No more oil loss between
oil change.
Of course YMMV, but it's certainly worth a try.
