I, too, have no footers describing the unsubscribe process, but I do once a
month get the standard mailing that explains it all. I delete it, since I
kept the original instructions which were labaled "keep these for later use"

Well peeps, I usually don't say anything during these threads, but I do
have a question. I know well where to go and how to unsubscribe, having had
to change my email three times in the last two years, and it escapes me how
anyone could be confused on how to affect changes to your subscription. On
the other hand, I don't have any lines or text at the end of my emails from
the list. Any how, um... carry on, and don't discontinue.

People Hi,
In reference to the "unsubscribe" issue may I say that when I was
considering to unsubscribe from the audifans list I also faced problems
doing so directly from the URL quoted on the bottom line of each message?
Dan was kind enough to provide his assistance but after his proposal (and
that of a few more listers) I have decided to stay on the list (after all I
still drive an audi)
What must be noted though is that MAYBE there is a problem with the bottom
line unsubscribe URL and instructions.
One the other hand if I were the lister who wishes to unsubscribe I would
first try a more polite way of asking it.
"Noblesse oblige" as our French (and Canadian) friends say.
Take care
Pantelis
