Clutch master?

Well I gave the audi a little bath today, and sprayed some degreaser in the=
 engine compartment. About an hour later I noticed a funny little squeaking=
 sound when pulling out of the parking lot. Then after working out leaving =
the parking lot I had a hard time getting it in first. Half a mile down the=
 road I got stuck at a light because I couldn't disengage the clutch. After=
 pushing it in a parking lot, I just started it in first and limped back ho=
me through the res. streets about 2 miles maybe. After I got home, it appea=
rs the clutch is ok now ?!?!?!??!?!  Is this a typical clutch master starti=
ng to fail? Could the little bath have any thing to do with it? I don't rea=
lly hear the squeaking/rubbing sound any more. HELP!
