Actually, we went over this a while back, maybe it was on the s-car
list,
the conclusion was that although the cross-sectional area was very
close,
the single 3" system has advantages due to reduced wall friction (I
don't
know the exact hydrodynamic terminology). The Scorpion system is a
little
larger than stock and it's 2.25" dual pipe. You'd need to go to 2.5"
dual
pipe to see significant increases in cross-sectional area, and then it
really
gets prohibitively expensive- I checked those Burns stainless prices for
421 stainless- ouch.

Audi systems, my bad, and probably there would be no point in replacing
one of those with a single 3" - since they are the same area. cool.
