Coupe is misfiring and there's a ticking noise to be heard - Is it the ignition leads.

Clean isn't the only criteria.  Resistance and wear are also somewhat
important.  When were they last replaced(in miles)?

Yup.  They're way past replacement.

While you're at it, I would pull all 5 plugs and outright replace
them, since they're about a buck or two apeice.
