alternative pressure plate bolt source?

I have often reused pressure plate bolts with no know (to me) negative
repercussions. In fact I very seldom replace them. A notable exception is
the 944 turbo which use very shallow triple square bolts that often strip
while removing so I always replace all of them.
Thanks
Jim

Subject: alternative pressure plate bolt source?
As some of you know, I busted off a pressure plate bolt while following the
wrong
torque specs that are in my early single book 5kcstq Bentley. (btw, is the
typo in the
later, 2-book version too?)
Would it be okay to get a similar allen bolt from a hardware or fastener
store?
Should these things be able to be found by the specs? Grade 8.8, metric,
etc.
There's that option, and also reusing "one" of the old ones I took out. The
rest are
new.
I have this Friday off, and it would be nice to get the thing back together
during the
three day weekend, rather than wait for another shipment from Carlsen. The
local
Audi dealer, Scottsdale, hasn't had that kind of stuff in stock in the past,
so I won't
even bother asking them.
I guess I was lucky the bolt broke instead of the flywheel stripping out.
Thanks for any help.
Ken
