I probably would not have been killed if the car had
completely slide off the jacks because the rear tires
were still on but I would have been injured for sure.
Always chock both wheels, either front or rear and be
safe.

Glad your OK, Lord know I've done some similar things, but you've missed the
biggest reason why you should be "almost to embarrassed to write this" I'm
sure you'll hear it again, NEVER get under a car soley supported by jacks,
regardless of the number of them, 1, 2 or 4. Always use JACKSTANDS when
getting under the vehicle! It also helps if your on a totally flat surface,
sounds like you may have been on the slightest of inclines as well. Also
use good jacks, floor models, almost every time I've been forced to use the
stock Audi jack, the car has shifted, I don't know how Audi got away with
them for so long!
