Carter,

You don't for one moment think that the Audi-built Cabriolets are
non-re-enforced, do you? See, it Audi had done a "true" CGT-to-cabriolet
conversion, I am sure they would have done all sorts of body-stiffening
work.

The reason I believe they ought to have made one, is that the shape is so
classic for "convertiblizing" As is the type 44. The "wedge" of these cars
is so distinct that I believe they would have looked awesome. As a matter of
fact I have seen some Cal company that did a conversion back in the late
80's, and the FAW homepage also has the convertiblized t-44 on it, so they
must be building it in China.

Imagine a CGT Convertible, with the 4.2L V8..... Zoom-zoom!
