ECU conector pins removal

Electronics stores have them. I've even seen them at Autozone. The connectors
basically have expanding catches/clips that lock them into the housing. The
tools slide over the connectors in several fashions, compressing the catch and
allowing the connector to be removed.
Audi techs have a special repair kit for fixing problems like this. It has the
release tools, replacement connectors and the special crimpers needed. My
friendly local tech spend 3 weeks chasing a bad connection in a wiring harness
on a brand new TT.
These tools are avail via the net, also. I'll post this to the list - someone
will know a site...
