it may not even need valves, chuck a belt on it and check for compression,=
we had a car at work, actually the 100 i have now, that got hit on the pas=
senger side cam sprocket and it broke, while running, and the dealer just a=
utomatically pulled the heads, and then discovered the valves were fine, it=
was moving while that happened too.

I thought about that too. How big of a job is it to pull the heads and do
the valves? I was told by the owner that he was cruising at about 75 mph
and the motor just quit. The car's an automatic, if that makes a
difference. My goal is to turn around and sell the car once it's done, so
I'm looking for the most cost effective method to get the car back on the
road.
