Can it be done? 20V head on a 2.3 NG?

You'd probably make less power due to lower compression but now if you put a turbo on it......

I know a guy who spent $1200 having his 20V head journals welded and machined then the head straightened cause the welding warped it after a low oil pressure situation. Then he had to buy a new cam and have one metal sprayed to build up the journals again. I've also seen a 8V VW head out of a cabriolet that snapped the last cam journal after the owner decided that the oil plug didn't need to be tightened to hold in oil.

>>More than likely the head is trash. The cam jounrals are the first to go when there is a loss of oil pressure.

>>>Ok, I've got an idea. I know where there is a 90Q with only 81,000 miles. The owner was driving along and hit something and blew a hole in the oil pan, didn't realize there was any damage and continued to drive with no oil. Locked the engine up. I can get the 20V head REAL cheap. The question is whether it can be installed on my 2.3 NG (10v, 130HP). Anybody know? A real PITA to do right? Impossible? What would the results be?
