Fuel lines for 86 4kcsq

I am in the process of replacing the fuel lines on my 4k.
However, I am not having any luck finding parts.
Well ok, I can buy them from Audi for about $650.  But that seems a bit
steep for 20 feet of pipe and some fittings.
Has anyone else done this?
I would like to find a source for the raw materials.  Pipe (Stainless
preferred) and the appropriate fittings.
