I'm just glad no one got killed from this stupidity.

A Diablo was pulled over for 174mph. On a public road. Judging from
the photos posted, it doesn't look like they were driving in areas with
zero traffic. There was a clip of a RS4 passing some "regular" traffic
while traveling at 140mph or thereabouts.

Absolutely stupid.

You know what would have been really funny? Instead of amassing $5k
fines
per infraction, the staties would have done a lot better by charging
these
idiots with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, felony speeding (in
the jurisdictions where that applies) and every other infraction under
the
sun. Then the foreign drivers would have a lot of fun getting out of
jail,
while their fancy cars get impounded and turned into DARE cars. It would
be pretty neat to have an F50 DARE car.

I like to go fast sometimes but am very careful to do it only where
there is
_zero_ traffic near me and always bring it to a normal speed upon seeing
traffic.
Passing someone with a 70+ mph differential is just plain stupid. These
guys
need to take it to the track.
