The hose that Audi use is oil resistance and heat resistance!
More than likely the substitute that you are planning to use IS NOT!

After finding a split in my lower hose on Saturday night, I was able to find
a great replacement at of all places Ace Hardware.  2" O.D. to 2" I.D.
coupling hose for pvc pipe, etc.  Perfect length and even comes with the
proper hose clamps.  $7.
