[V6-12v] Check/clean those MAF sensors - NO CARB CLEANER???

You lucked out Mineah. MAF sensors (especially thin film or wire sensors) have lots of plastic bits and plastic coated parts that can be eaten away by the solvents in carb cleaner. The wire can also be broken by the spray. When I was working as a parts puke at the local veedub dealer there was an irate owner who went to town on his VR6 with carb cleaner. It toasted his MAF sensor and ate up some other sensors that he hosed. A thousand bucks later he was up and running.
