You mean to measure the distance from?  In my Bentley, it seems to point to the center of the round hole that is cast in the bottom of the tranny case.  It should be somewhere not too far from where the spec says it should be, but slightly on the left side.

I had enough space for a regular large wrench.  It was easier to get a firm grip using the standard wrench than it was the offset one, I think.  I didn't have too much of a problem with access once I removed the cover from the air cleaner and the heat shields.  I don't think that it matters, but I had the starter out too.  For that matter, I think the right side driveshaft was out too.

When first confronted with loosening the motor mount nut after getting access to it, I thought it might be a situation where one might heat and custom bend a wrench to fit that situation, but I was taking a less-permanent approach and it worked out fine.  A bent wrench might certainly do the trick or make it easier tho'.
