Radiator Fan Questions

> Patient is a 1987.5 Coupe GT (2.3 NG) How much air does your radiator fan pull? Mine doesn't create the tornado like air flow that my other cars seem to have. it creates an nice HOT breeze. The fans doesn't seem to spin as fast as I think it should, but the motor seems strong. The rolled up newspaper trick doesn't stop it. Somebody mentioned that it may be stuck on "low."

if the fan has three connections, that would be evidence that it is a
two speed fan.

measure the voltage at the connector while it is running (carefully).
if the wiring is a problem, you might see substantially les than 12
volts.

You might want to simply source a recycled fan and see how that works.
