        No argument that its a good engine, but ..

        How about this extract from a write up of the R8's at Sebring "...
Biela was unable to take advantage ... as he returned to the pits with
hydraulic fluid leaking from the steering rack. He lost a considerable
amount of time, eventually re-joining in third position, 3 laps down,
unfortunately the problem wasn't sorted, the power steering working on some
corners but not others, making it very difficult to drive and too dangerous
to continue without fixing it"

     Sounds just like my type 44 hydraulics before I finally nailed 'em.
