no, that wouldn't be safe.  I passed it through a rubber grommet and sealed
it with RTV silicone.  If I used a bulkhead that would make a connection
INSIDE the cabin which I refused to do.  Plus it would make the connections
stick up higher into the foam of the rear bench.  The way I did it seems to
be the safest way.

yeah, some kind of SCCA rules or whatever.  For my application, bulkheads in
the back didn't make sense.
