I think I've narrowed it down further, however.  Thinking about it, if it was
running this rich when I left the shop, my house is 45min away.  I think it
might be VERY possible that I've destroyed the brand-new catalytic converter on
the car...and now it's plugged.

Perhaps the mixture can't exit the engine easily, and thus it's flooding??
