Good fuel to use?

People Hi,

I do not know whether Shell V-Power is available in the US but for the
European countries having this type of fuel I would recommend that everyone
who has access to use will use it at least twice is succession.

I have been using 98 octane gazoline (petrol for UK lister) since the first
day I bought my secondhand RS2 and have always had problems with occasional
stumblings, dirty fuel filter etc.

The owner of the fuel station where I usually get the fuel for all my cars
(diesel and gazoline powered) has insisted on using V-power instead of the
98 octane fuel for quite some time.
Since the RS2 owner's manual specificaly instructs the use of 98 octane fuel
only I was hesitating on using the new V-Power.

But eventually I got persuaded to do so.

And I strongly doubt that I will ever use 98 octane again.

The car feels better, pulls like a train (only much faster), does not
stumble, the exhaust is much whiter and it also runs a bit colder. And more
economical both on mpg terms and on cents (Euro cents) per Km since the
V-Power is about 10% cheaper when compared to the 98 octane gazoline.

To round up. I am extremely satisfied with the V-Power and I would recommend
that those who have access to it use it.

Take care
Pantelis

P.S. Forgot to mention another thing which is quite important. My car had
some problems with a potentially blocked fuel filter after having to fill up
using a jerrycan which was used to carry olive oil and had olive pressing
residues inside. (it was supposed to be clean but it wasn't and that got
apparent only after quite a bit of fuel had been inside the fuel tank) AFter
using V-Power all fuel starvation symptoms just disappeared. With only one
tankfull.
