Best Glue for Gluing Sunroof Tilt Flap back onto Sunroof

I used Shoe Goo (clear adhesive, gel like, glue, comes in a squeeze
tube) on my 5kt for this shortly after I bought it a couple years ago.
Still holding up(I think) for my brother who now owns the car... The
stuff works well when there are large gaps, and/or just weird surfaces
to stick together. Don't think I've ever used it for shoes though....
