SPOILER: F-1 results. Complaints, anyone?

f1 has always been a "team" sport, and so the austrian gp is nothing new. in
the old days, in some cases, drivers even handed over their cars during the
race to the #1 driver, so that he could complete the race.

and we recently also had the case of mclaren fixing the outcome of the race
between their drivers prior to the start.

what is different is that this was done in such an overt way, and has been such
a pr nightmare that the fia might be moved to do something about it. after
doing nothing about it for 50 years, it will be interesting to see how the fia
deals with it without themselves being accused of hypocrisy.

f1 has never been a sport. it is motor-racing, and at the top level, simply
very expensive pr.
