ATF in Engine to clean it???

I heard report of a lister attempting this method of engine cleaning and
IIRC he had an engine that leaked like a sieve afterwards, requiring sale
replacement EVERYWHERE. I wouldn't recommend ATF in the engine. Even
switching from dino to synth can do a significant amount of cleaning....
