Fuel Pump - end of story

Jim:
Different thread. I was going on a test drive to find a coolant leak,
and on the way back it started missing/stumbling every so often. Then a
few mins later died completely. It was confusing at first, in that I
could smell gas in the exhaust and the pump made noise and moved gas,
just not at enough pressure/volume...
As far as I know the pump I took out was the original (maybe not with
205Kmi on it). But it was the first I had to deal with it, and I saw
yellow sealer on some of the bolts, unbroken, that looked like factory
applied.
However the replacement was a Czeck model. Hopefully (for me) they have
gatten better at making these.
