I thought I was the last A/D/S fan left out there. I've been using A/D/S stuff for both home and car since around 1993. Their older AL4s were perfect for the front sound stage in my 90Q and the AL 6.5s are perfect for my Passat and now all I have to do is find a decent set for the CGT. I was thinking of putting the tweets in the stock location and mid-woofers in custom door panels, any thoughts on this?

Agreed. Wish I had gotten around to adding the ads sub to my system. I used
a 3 way powerplate (with the plan of using one set for the sub). So in the
meantime (9 years, it turns out) I doubled the power to the front ads
component speakers (80 watts per channel).
Sounded pretty good. :)
But I do have to admit...the new Sting album sounded pretty darn good this
morning (good volume, great weather, high speed <grin>. Maybe the Bose
system isn't quite as bad as I thought. :)
