tires, SP8000 vs SO3 opinions please

It's time to get some new 215-45-17 rubber for the ol' 200q. I'm primarily
interested in track performance, as any 17 will make this car a McLaren on
the street. These tires will never see rain, nor are potholes an issue.
Sooo, does anyone have experience with the Bridgestone Pole Position SO3 on
the track? How might it compare to the SP8000, which is $19 cheaper per
copy?
