Nakamichi

We have a Nakamichi in my wife's 100CS Wagon. Right now, it is using the
standard amplifier to power new speakers in front, and the original Bose
rear system.

The front and rear speakers aren't really balanced properly, but that isn't
surprising, and I intend to remove the rear Bose speakers and replace them
with a rear amp and new speakers eventually.

We bought the Nakamichi while we were in Florida, as the OEM Bose head unit
volume control ceased to work, and no sound came out of the radio at all. I
still have it and it can be repaired at some point.

The only real complaint that I have about the Nakamichi, is the orange
display, which is not really what I wanted. It's pretty bright, but one
does get used to it. My wife loves the radio, so I will not complain. It
is a single CD unit, which is precisely what we wanted. The car does not
have the Bose changer.

On the whole, it seems like a very fine radio....although not inexpensive.
