Is the oil temperature sensor in a pressurized condition for a KX engine?

I have a VDO oil pressure gauge in my CGT. I put a "T" where the OE oil
pressure sensor is, and it works fine, but the VDO sensor end up being too
close to the radiator, and I'm afraid it will contact the radiator when the
engine moves over the mounts(this is a rally car).

I would like to know if the place where the OE oil temperature sensor is (oil
case)  will also give me a good indication of oil pressure. So, I can move the
"T" over there.
