The OEM pads these days are apparently VERY soft, at least on the
surface. Every dealer I've talked with since knows about this; it
would have been nice if the dealer installing them had mentioned it.

I had mine replaced VERY early because a rotor got damaged and
replaced, and they decided to replace the pads too.
