I'll answer some of your questions.

Yes, the Coupe (drum brakes) uses the same part number as the A2 VWs
for the rear wheel bearings.

No, the Audi type 81/85 rear drums are bigger than the VW A2 cars.

The tachometer from a 4 cylinder car won't read correctly on a 5 cylinder
car. Also, there are differences in the wiring between the analog dash
and digi dash cars.
