Tire Fitment Question

You can always check the tire specs from Tire Rack's website- compare
the section and tread widths based on tires that are known to fit.
225/45 and 235/40R17 are known to fit, in many tires- S02, S03, SP9k,
Pilot Sport, AVS Sport, etc.
Many people have BTDT with several tires in a Plus Zero fit, of course
Tire Rack is ultra-conservative.
If S4tt wheels with the same offset and wider width fit w/ 235/40....

Subject: Re: Tire Fitment Question
I did search the archives. Most people including Eddie from Tire Rack
indicate that it will PROBABLY be OK. Eddie recommends a test fit
first. The tires I bought are Yokohama AVS Intermediates (225-50-16).
The current tires are Dunlop D60 A2s (205-55-16). The current fit looks
tight, but there is some space and the Dunlops look to have a very wide
contact patch for 205's.
Any BTDTs with the 225-50-16 Yoko AVS Intermediates on the factory 16x7
45mm offset wheels?
Thanks!
