Ran over a curb... repairs?

Slid into a curb sideways and bent a turbo quattro coupe strut we had
placed into a 4000S quattro. It was not apparent until alignment time.

Made it "Cherry red" and straightened it with a large press. It seems
that most of these struts are bent a little as you can never get the
camber right without some tricks.

You might want to check the transmission mounts too.

Subject: Ran over a curb... repairs?

I ran over a curb last night in my '90 80Q, pretty entirely my own
fault.
After I coaxed the car back home, and took off the front wheel tonight
several things became apparent. The wheel itself was rubbing against
the
inner wheel well the few blocks until home, as well as the rubber being
rather badly nicked (I was afraid the tire would explode). With the
wheel
off, it is obvious the lower control arm is severly bent, and the ball
joints look in bad shape. Is there anything else I should look for
damage
wise? Also, where can I purchase a new control arm, and where can I
find
some instructions on installing it?

Thanks,
David Miller
