I'll take the switch out again and run some continuity test in the various
positions then. The switch didn't look _that_ bad. The PCB was covered in
dirt and greasy gunk, and there were the 3 little H shaped wear patterns
from the joystick. The L/R rocker seemed OK. I cleaned it all with
electronic contact cleaner and a toothbrush (gently). The springs were
pushing fine, but I'll give them a little tug just to be safe.
Re: testing the mirrors directly, do you think they would work on a 9V
battery?
BTW, why do you have 2 mirror switches on your coupe?
