A4 Spare Tire Question

I don't know if this applies to all A4s, but my old '96 A4 2.8q came with
a full-size spare (albeit it is on a steel wheel).

My '01 S4 comes with a full-size 17" Avus alloy with Pirelli P6000
spare just like the other four.
