I sold the previous owner of my 90Q an ignition ECU due to water leaking
into it. When I got the car it became a priority to prevent it
happening again (and to keep the passegner floor dry...)
I figured it was probably the windsheild, and I figured right. A crude
cleaning of the seal with alcohol and a carefully feathered bead of
black RTV all up both sides and across the top stopped the leak.
Luckily it is a black car, and reeks of death anyway, so there were no
cosmetic issues. I would not recommend the RTV fix to anyone else, but
you can try it on your own if you want!
