I called one of Bilstein's dealers and, as result, one hypotesis is that it is result of my mistake
of putting light oil into strut housing. The shock might suck oil into the space where air is
supposed to be. Make sense to me, damn idiot. I am going to take cartrage out, drill a small hole
12mm above the bottom, drain oil, if it is there, drill a hole at the bottom of housing to let oil
drain. I need the last step becasue if the oil got into the cartrage then I will not be able to
evacuate it all and it might drain after I put back together.
Another bad news that HD shocks will not work with shorter springs. If fitted the spring will be
fully unloaded if a car is jacked up and may displace. Does anyone know springs which are stock
lenght but stiffer then stock springs?
Konstantin.
