Directional tread tire on wrong side?

Shouldn't be a problem for a spare. The belts in a directional tire take a
"set" and running it "backwards" for an extended time can result in broken
or shifted belts. The tire may be noisy running the tread pattern in the
"wrong" direction. Not much of a problem as a spare, IMO.

I personally don't think it's a problem, I wouldn't run
it for a long time that way, though.

I have a Bridgestone RE040 for a spare, directional as well.
