Most of the flanges I've seen don't have a true bevel, most have a small 1/8"
bevel on one side, however, and I've got that to seal to the donut with
pretty good results. Overall I don't like the donut sealing trick, I have
all Chevy 3" flanges (3" from the turbo all the way to the tail pipe,
including the Cat) on 80tq, uses plain old gaskets available at every
autoparts store and muffler shop in the US. If you have the time, I
recommend going to something more standard anyway.
