A6 Boge gas strut insert v. Bilstein

I expect to replace the front sturt inserts on my recently purchased 97 A6
with 143K. I presently have it the shop getting new inner and outer bushing
on the front lower control arm.  The OEM sturt is a Boge gas unit, that
gives a reasonable balance on ride and handling.  The Bilstein "sport" sells
for about 45.00 more for each.  Has anyone installed the sport on their A6,
and how do you like them?

Bilstein reportedly makes another model, but I am not sure which is stiffer.
I would prefer the less stiff ones.  I do not plan on change springs or
lower the car.
