Martin, and anybody else interested,
I got the "Bernie brace" from fellow lister Dale
McCormack his mail is dale at themccormacks.org.
I've had the brace on for about a year now and I like
it car goes into corners at high rates of speeds nice
and tight no body roll fells good,
but the eibach's and boges probly have something to
do with that as well but the brace seems to tie every
thing nicely.
Paid like $60 for the two adaptors that replace the
top strut nut's and a visit to the local Home Depo for
some 1/2 inch EMT was all I needed. A little cutting
is needed though,
you'll have to lay the bar from strut top to strut
top and cut the lip (section that the bar is going to
go over) that the Audi cover under the hood attaches
to and all so notch the cupped washers under the top
of the strut nuts to clear the rod ends piece of cake
though.
All in all I think it was monie well spent.
Hope this helps
Thanks
Ron
