ETKA and Audi

I own a shop that works exclusively on another rare 4WD vehicle(Land Cruiser). The manufacturer is happy to sell the parts microfiche to us, because it means increased parts sales and fewer returns. I've never understood the whole "secrecy" thing about getting a copy of ETKA. Seems very counterproductive based on my professional experience. An auto manufacturer should seek to put the parts catalog in the hands of every owner and service tech. Just my $.02
