The biggest problem, given the hose is of the proper pressure specs, is the
interface with the hard line. Even the correct metric hose, generally
7.5mm, has a hard time effectively sealing to the pipe. I've seen things
like 6" of overlap and multiple hose clamps, and they still leak. You
really need the barb like the factory uses at the ends of the pipe to assure
a good seal. John
