The simple way to play CD's is to get a portable cd player . . .less than
$20. Pipe the sound into a Radio Shack FM transmitter($30) . . . and listen
to the music on your FM radio.

Thats how my CD is rigged up. Works fine . . .sometimes you get interference
from a real radio station, but I have 4 frequency selections to choose from.

The cost of MP3 players has dropped to less than $50. I would go that route.
You can pack a whole lot more mp3's on a CD. An MP3 player will also play
normal CD's.

And this system is portable . . .works off the cigarette lighter. I use it
in 2 audi's and 1 pickup truck.
