It's the good old KLEZ virus.

it harvests "to" *and* "from" addresses from victims address books, so
whenever a victim has the list address and a subscribed address in their
mail program (MS only of course), boom, we get a (filtered, of course)
little note.

the "from" thing is cute because it makes it hard to tell who the victim
is, to let them know they are infected...
