(I want) more torque from a NG motor

This addendum of course matters, all I can say is on my 90Q the
impression I get is of a strong steady pull, but who knows *what* I may
have tampered with by now?

It has been a while since I drove anything resembling a stock 4kq...
nobody I know has one anymore, or so it seems...
