What's a YK420

Does anyone have any experience with Yokohama YK420 tires?  These are
apparently a custom tire for Discount Tire chain (and associates).

To me, they look a lot like the Yokohama Avid V4, at least by the tread
pattern.  The Avid V4 rates UTQG 360 AA, while the YK 420 rates 420 AA
(wonder where they got the name? :-)

Discount Tire claims (verbally) the YK 420 is a superior tire to the
Bridgestone Potenza RE950, which was my other tire choice.  Any comments on
the veracity of that claim?
