How about an adjustable cam sprocket so you can advance the cam and move
the curve toward the lower end of RPM spectrum?
That motor should have plenty o' torque as is though - enough to make a 100
get out of its own way. Perhaps there are some "tuneup" issues which need
addressing.

It has taken me a couple of years to figure this out but I just don't enjoy
driving my 80q as much as my 4kq. I think my biggest dislike with the 80q
is
the motor. First, let me say that I drive like a little old lady and around
town work the motor in the 2-3000 rpm range. The JT was perfectly happy
running on 87 octane and pulled great at 2500 (just what the specs show).

NG barely runs on 91 octane, doesn't start moving till 3500 and is addicted
to Toulene.
In going thru the archives I can find lots of information on more power but
nothing on getting more bottom end. I am not interested in a turbo

and will stay with the 10:1 cr. I am thinking along the line of a cam or

or? Any BTDT out there or am I the only Audifan out there who doesn't care
about having 200+ hp?
Thanks, Jim]
